Disposable sheets

Advantages of disposable sheets

Disposable sheets are the star product in many sectors, as these high-quality single-use items make it possible to guarantee hygiene and protection standards for clients.

In recent years, disposable sheets have increasingly replaced fabric sheets. They offer multiple advantages, since these single-use items save not only economic resources but also human resources in businesses that would otherwise need to wash fabric sheets after each use. Contaminated fabrics also require additional investment in specialised staff for handling, transport and storage — an issue fully resolved by using disposable sheets.

Types of disposable sheets

It is important to know the different types of disposable sheets in order to make full use of the product and choose the one that best suits each client’s needs depending on the tasks to be performed:

  • Sheet in PP Non-Woven Fabric (TNT)

Available in fitted models with a weight of 30 g. Non-woven fabric is a material produced through chemical, thermal and mechanical processes, creating a network of fibres bonded together.

Disposable PP non-woven sheets have a single layer and a flat, flexible and porous structure.

  • SMS Polypropylene Non-Woven Sheet (Fitted/Non-Fitted)

You can choose between fitted, fitted plus, and non-fitted models, with weights of 28 g and 14 g.
They differ from the previous options thanks to their three-layer structure (Spunlace + Meltblown + Spunlace), which provides greater strength and makes them water-repellent.

  • Fitted Laminated PP Non-Woven Sheet

Thanks to the polypropylene coating, these disposable sheets are fully waterproof. Polypropylene non-woven sheets are commonly used on treatment couches and beds for single-use treatments or overnight stays.

  • Fitted PLUS PP Non-Woven Sheet

These disposable sheets are specially designed for tattoo studios, although they can be used in many other sectors. They are of premium quality and come in a dark blue colour.

In the case of Polyethylene Sweating Sheets, their use is recommended for sweating treatments in beauty centres and spas, as well as for body treatments with algae, mud or other procedures requiring sweating or massages.

They are mainly used to cover and protect large areas from stains, paint or dust. Due to their large size, they can also be used to cover or protect surfaces or objects during renovation work, painting, removals, and other similar situations.

Sectors most interested in disposable sheets

Many sectors benefit — and increasingly rely — on disposable sheets to carry out their daily activities. They are mainly used in hospitals, but are also very common in beauty salons and spas, as they are more hygienic than traditional fabric sheets. They are also frequently used in gyms, physiotherapy centres, hotels and even hostels, becoming one of the most in-demand disposable products.
Their various formats make them highly adaptable, and since they are all hypoallergenic and non-sterile, they provide a hygienic guarantee for single-use treatments or overnight stays on beds and treatment couches in Healthcare, Gyms, Beauty and Hairdressing Centres, Hotels and Hostels.

Which sheet to use for your treatment couch

Disposable sheets are available in different sizes and weights depending on the type of couch, but it is not always clear which size is most suitable.

To determine the correct size, you need to:

  • Measure the length.
  • Measure the width.
  • Add twice the height of the mattress to these measurements.
